    This glaze was put over a pound cake.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1/4 cup half-half
    • 3 tbsp chopped fresh basil
    • 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar, sifted
    • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
    • Dash of salt


    Instructions


    1. Combine half-half and basil in small microwave bowl. Microwave on high for 45 seconds. Let stand 5 minues. Strain mixture through a sieve over a bowl. Discard basil.
    2. Combine half-half/basil mixture, powdered sugar, 2 tbsp lemon juice, dash of salt. Stir with a whisk until smooth.
    3. Drizzle 1/2 of glaze over cake. Let stand over cake or until set. Repeat with remaining glaze.
