Buttermilk Custard Pie

Recipe Introduction
I do not usually use the full amount of sugar. It makes the pie too sweet. If you cut back by about 1/8 - 1/4 of a cup, the pie doesn't bite you back.
List of Ingredients
2 cups sugar
4 heaping tablespoons flour
1 stick melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
2 unbaked regular pie shells
Recipe
Stir together first six ingredients, mixing well. Pour into unbaked pie shells and bake at 325° for 45 minutes or until pies are light golden brown and custard is firm.
