    Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits

    Another version to try!!

    RED LOBSTER CHEDDAR BAY BISCUITS
I've searched and searched for a good recipe that closely mimics the biscuits you get at Red Lobster. This is the closest I've found, and I think it's the club soda that makes the difference

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 tablespoon parsley flakes
    1 teaspoon Italian seasonings
    2 cup bisquick
    1/2 cup club soda
    3/4 lb cheddar cheese
1/2 cup butter (1/2 stick); melted

    Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

Mix bisquick, club soda and cheese. Drop by large spoonsful onto greased baking sheet. Bake 8 - 10 minutes. After baking, (while hot) brush on melted buter, mixed with garlic powder, parsley flakes and italian seasoning. Serve hot.

**I have changed the recipe slightly ... I add all the seasonings right into the biscuit mix ... then just brush with melted butter ... my family seems to like it better that way :-)

The soda REALLY makes the difference ... they are really light and fluffy. (Gingerale may also be used, but I just keep some little bottles of soda in the house for this purpose ... kids won't drink it, so it stays around!)
