PARMESAN GARLIC TOASTS

List of Ingredients
6 garlic cloves, chopped
2 teaspoons olive oil
2 ounces French bread, cut diagonally into 12 thin slices
3/4 ounce grated Parmesan cheese
Recipe
Preheat oven to 400o F. Line baking sheet with foil.
In small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup water, the garlic and oil; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low; simmer 10 minutes, until thickened and smooth, pressing mixture against side of pan with wooden spoon.
Spread an equal amount of garlic mixture onto 1 side of each bread slice; arrange on prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle evenly with Parmesan cheese. Bake 10 minutes, until
crisp.
EACH SERVING (3 SLICES) PROVIDES: 1/2 Fat, 1/4 Protein, 1/2 Bread
