    Microwave Carmel Corn

    Fall Potluck 2000


    List of Ingredients


    • 3 qt. popped corn (1 c. unpopped)
    • 1 c. brown sugar
    • 1/4 c. Karo syrup
    • 1 stick margarine
    • 1/2 t. salt
    • 1/2 t. baking soda


    Instructions


    1. Combine brown sugar, Karo syrup, margarine & salt and boil for 2 minutes on high.
    2. Add baking soda & stir.
    3. Pour mixture on popcorn in a brown grocery bag & shake well.
    4. Put in microwave for 1-1/2 minutes.
    5. Take out & shake well.
    6. Return to microwave for 1-1/2 minutes on high.
    7. Shake well.
    8. Pour onto wax paper.
