Microwave Carmel Corn
Fall Potluck 2000
List of Ingredients
- 3 qt. popped corn (1 c. unpopped)
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. Karo syrup
- 1 stick margarine
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/2 t. baking soda
Instructions
- Combine brown sugar, Karo syrup, margarine & salt and boil for 2 minutes on high.
- Add baking soda & stir.
- Pour mixture on popcorn in a brown grocery bag & shake well.
- Put in microwave for 1-1/2 minutes.
- Take out & shake well.
- Return to microwave for 1-1/2 minutes on high.
- Shake well.
- Pour onto wax paper.
