    1 1/2 cup Quick Baking Mix
    3/4 cup cornmeal
    2 tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp.salt
    1 egg
    1 cup milk

    Recipe



    In a bowl, combine the mix, cornmeal, sugar and salt. Beat egg and milk together; stir into dry ingredients just until mositened. Pour into a greased 9 inch square baking pan. Bake at 400 degrees oven for 20-22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean (corn bread will not brown). Cook for 10 minutes on a wire rack before cutting.
