    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb. ground beef
    • 1 med. onion chopped
    • 1 TBL. chili powder
    • 1 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
    • 2 cans (16oz each) diced tomatoes, undrained
    • 1 can (15oz) pinto beans, rinsed and drained
    • 1/2 cup prepared salsa
    • salt and pepper
    • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    • 3 TBL. sour cream
    • 4 tsp. black olives


    Instructions


    1. Heat a large skillet over med. heat. Add beef and onion; cook until beef is browned and onion is tender. Drain fat.
    2. Place beef mixture, chili powder, cumin, tomatoes, beans, and salsa in crockpot; stir.
    3. Cover and cook on LOW 5-6 hours or until flavors are blended and chili is bubbly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
    4. Serve with cheese, sour cream, and olives.


    Final Comments


    Serve with tossed green salad and cornbread muffins.
