Snickers Cake
List of Ingredients
8 (2.03 ounces each) Snickers bars
2 sticks butter
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Recipe
Place candy bars and butter in top of double boiler and melt over simmering water. Melt and cool slightly (the candy will not be dissolved completely).
Combine chocolate/butter mixture with remaining ingredients. Pour in greased 9-by-13-inch pan and bake at 300 to 325 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. When cool, frost with any moist chocolate frosting.
Serves 14-16.
