    List of Ingredients





    1 lb. ground chuck and /or Italian Sausage
    1 can beef broth
    6 oz. can of tomato paste
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. crushed fennel seed
    2 garlic cloves
    1 med. onion, chopped
    1 tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. basil
    28 oz. can tomato puree (I also love Plum tomatoes)
    (these are aprox. measurments)
    and 1 can of water

    Recipe



    In olive oil, sauté onions and garlic until transparent
    Add ground chuck and cook until browned.
    Drain fat.
    Immediately combine meat mixture with tomato puree, sauce , broth, and water.
    Mix until smooth and add spices and sugar.
    Simmer uncovered at least 1 hour.
