    List of Ingredients


    • 3/4 cup butter
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 3 eggs, separated
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla
    • 2-1/4 cups cake flour, sifted
    • 1 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
    • 1 teaspoon cloves
    • 1 teaspoon allspice
    • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
    • 1/4 cup buttermilk
    • 1 cup blackberry jam
    • 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
    • 1/2 cup raisins
    • 1 cup pecans


    Instructions


    1. Cream butter and sugar together.
    2. Add remainder of ingredients in order listed.
    3. Pour batter into greased and floured cake pan.
    4. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
