    Serves: 8

    List of Ingredients

    1 lb. ground veggie burger
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped red bell pepper
    2 cloves garlic, chopped fine
    1 (15 oz.) can black beans, drained and rinsed
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (28 oz.) can cut tomatoes
    1 (4 oz.) can whole green chilis, chopped coarsely
    4 T. chili seasonings OR 2 T. chili powder
    1 t. cumin
    1 T. onion powder
    1/2 t. garlic powder
    1/2 t. salt


    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

    Brown veggie burger in a nonstick frying pan. Add onion and peppers and cook until limp. Drain well and place in a soup pot.

    Add remaining ingredients, bring to a boil, and place in a large ovenproof dish.

    Cover chili mixture with a Cornbread batter (I use Krusteaz Fat Free Honey Cornbread) and bake at 400 degrees until browned on top.
