List of Ingredients
- 2 inch piece fresh ginger, grated or chopped
- 4 cups water
- 4 Tablespoons brown sugar
- juice of 1 lemon
Instructions
- Bring all the ingredients to a boil and simmer, covered, for about 20 minutes.
- Strain and drink it hot or leave to cool and keep in the fridge.
- Dilute with soda water and use for ginger ale.
Final Comments
To get more juice from the lemon, put the whole un-peeled lemon into the tea for about 5 to 10 minutes then remove and squeeze out the juice.
