List of Ingredients



• 2 cups flour
  
• 1 cup salt
  
• 4 teaspoons cream of tartar
  
• 2 cups water
  
• 4 tablespoons cooking oil
  
• food coloring
  






Instructions



1. Mix all of the ingredients together in the top of a double boiler.
   
   
2. Cook, stirring constantly until the mixture resembles mashed potatoes and becomes too stiff to stir.
   
   
3. Scrape the dough out of the pot on to the counter. Allow to cool.
   
   
4. Divide the dough into 3 portions. Make an indentation with your thumb into each one. Add a different color of food coloring into each piece of dough. Knead the color through.
   
   






Final Comments


Store the playdough in an air-tight container.
