    List of Ingredients

    1 pkg. caramel candies
    1/3 cup milk
    2 cups regular all-purpose flour
    2 cups regular, uncooked oats
1-1/2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 slightly beaten egg
    1 cup softened butter
    1 pkg. semisweet chocolate chunks
    1 pkg. semisweet chocolate chips
    2 cups chopped peanuts

    Recipe

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine caramels and milk and heat on low temperature until caramels are melted. Don't try to speed up this process or they will burn. Set aside. Mix flour, oats, sugar, baking soda and salt. Add egg and butter, stir well. Press 1/2 the mixture into 9x12 pan and bake for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and peanuts then pour caramel mixture on top. Sprinkle with remaining crumbs. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Cool. While the pan is in the oven, melt the chocolate chunks in the same way the caramels were melted. When pan comes out of the oven, drizzle chocolate over top and cut into bars. Chill overnight.
