    ¾ cups vegetable oil
    1-1/3 cups white sugar
    3 eggs
    Beat until fluffy.
    Add:

    1½ teaspoon anise extract or ¼ teaspoon liquid
    1 teaspoon lemon extract
    ½ cup flour
    1 cup milk
    4 teaspoons baking powder

    Mix well and bake in a 10 inch size angel food cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes. Ice cake with vanilla icing.
