    Leigh’s Hummus Recipe

    1 - 15 oz. can garbanzo (chickpeas) beans, rinsed and drained
    1 - 15 oz. can garbanzo (chickpeas) beans, undrained
    3 garlic cloves
    ½ C tahini paste
    1½ t ground cumin powder
    ½ t paprika
    juice from 2-3 lemons
    ¼ C olive oil
    salt & pepper to taste

    With food processor running, drop garlic cloves through food chute; process until minced. Add all ingredients except reserved liquid and process until smooth. Add the reserved water if too thick. Check flavor and add additional lemon if desired. Garnish by drizzling a little olive oil over the top and sprinkling with a little more paprika.
