    Potluck Baked Beans

    List of Ingredients

    4 (28-ounce) cans baked beans, excess liquid drained*
    1 (1-pound) box dark brown sugar (try less)
    3 Tbs dry mustard
    1 large onion, finely chopped
    4 slices of bacon, diced

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

    Combine the beans, brown sugar, dry mustard onion and bacon; mixing well. Spoon into into a large, well-greased ovenproof Dutch oven or bean pot.
    Bake, uncovered for 3 to 4 hours or until sauce has thickened and reduced.

    Makes 12 to 15 servings.

    *Use a premium brand of beans such as B & M Baked Beans for best results.
