    Tips for Serving Brown Rice

    Stir into hot cooked brown rice:

    . Toasted pecans and raisins or dried cranberries
    . Chopped sun-dried tomatoes, black olives and fresh basil
    . Sliced red and yellow (green) bell peppers, toasted pine nuts and crumbled feta cheese
    . Sauteed mushrooms, shallots and grated Asiago cheese
    . Diced tomatoes, chopped cilantro and diced green chiles
    . Fresh green beans sauteed in butter and toasted sliced almonds
    . Mandarin orange sliced and sliced green onions

    Make warm or chilled brown rice salad by combining brown rice with one of the selections above (or one of your own) and a splash of vinaigrette dressing. Serve warm or chill if desired.
