    1 cup bulgur (cracked wheat)
    1 smaller sweet onion, diced
    1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    2 1/4 cups beef broth
    1 teaspoon garlic granules
    1/2 tsp. fresh ground pepper
    Fresh minced parsley

    Heat the olive oil in a medium pan. Cook the bulgur,
    onion and mushrooms until the vegetables are soft,
    stirring often over medium heat. Add everything but
    the fresh parsley, and stir well. Bring to a boil, then
    reduce the heat, cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes
    until the bulgur is tender
