Cucumber Canapés

List of Ingredients

12 oz. whipped cream cheese
1 tablespoon dry Ranch dressing mix
1/2 teaspoon dry Italian dressing mix
1 loaf of party rye or pumpernickel bread (this is appetizer-size square bread)
Freshly chopped dill (or dried dill weed)
Cucumbers (amount depends on how much bread you have) I use about 4 Kirby cucumbers for a loaf of the party bread slices.



Recipe

Beat the cream cheese and the dressing mixes together.

Set aside in refrigerator to blend flavors.


Wash and peel cucumbers so that some of the green remains in strips around the cucumber.


Thinly slice cucumbers.


Put a smear of the cream cheese mixture on each bread slice and top with one or two slices of cucumber.

Top with a sprinkle of fresh (or dried) dill weed.
Serve chilled.
