    Onion Pinwheels

    Recipe Introduction

Wow... these are delicious little appetizers. They can be made up ahead of time and frozen. Then .. just partially thaw so you can cut them and put them on greased baking sheet and bake on both sides until browned. I like to use Reynolds Wrap Release aluminum foil for baking these. They slide right off. I modified the original recipe a little to suit my own taste. I like to add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes to give it a little zip.

    3 - 4 LARGE yellow onions, chopped

1 package of burrito size flour tortillas (10)

    Recipe

Saute onions in butter until limp.
Add cream cheese and Swiss cheese and stir to melt.
Measure 1/2 cup of mixture and spread on tortilla leaving 1/2-inch at the edge.
