    List of Ingredients

    2 cups fresh basil (no stems)
    2 TB pine nuts
    1 cup Pecorino Romano cheese (split in half)
    1 cup olive oil (or your preferred choice of oil)
    2-3 garlic cloves, chopped
    salt and pepper(to taste)

    Recipe

    Fill blender with fresh basil, pine nuts, garlic, 1/2 cup of the cheese and 1 cup of oil.

    Blend until creamy.

    Add the other 1/2 cup of cheese and blend until cheese is incorporated, not disintegrated. You still want some texture there with that second 1/2 cup of cheese.

    Taste and check for salt and pepper.

    Refrigerate.

    This can also be frozen in small containers.
