Red Beans and Rice

List of Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 large onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons GOYA Sofrito
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 tsp. crushed hot pepper flakes (optional)
1(15oz.)can red kidney beans with liquid
1 cup tomato sauce
1 packet SAZON GOYA
1/2 cup water
Recipe
In medium saucepan, heat the olive oil. Saute' onion, garlic, and oregano for 2 minutes. Add Sofrito and stir. (add crushed red pepper flakes if using)
Add tomato sauce and heat over medium heat.
Add the beans and cook for 10 minutes.
Lower heat, add SAZON and water. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Serve over warm white rice. Serves 3-4.
