Soft and Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

List of Ingredients
2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 pkg. (4-serving size) instant vanilla pudding mix
Note: chocolate pudding may be substituted if making chocolate chocolate chip cookies.
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 (12-ounce) pkg. chocolate chips (2-cups)
1 (4-ounce) chocolate candy bar, chopped (not chopped finely.. leave some big chunks)
1 cup nuts
Recipe
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Mix flour with baking soda in a bowl and set aside.
In large bowl combine butter, sugars and pudding mix.
Beat until smooth and creamy.
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Gradually add flour mixture.
Stir in chips, chocolate bar and nuts.
Refrigerate 20 minutes.
Roll into balls and flatten slightly and place on ungreased cookie sheet or parchment paper or SILPAT baking sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
