For the most moist chicken or pork you must try this recipe!
I used to use just a water/salt/pepper/garlic/sugar type brine. But the cola takes it over the top for tenderness and wonderful flavor. Amazing! Try it.
List of Ingredients
1/2 cup Kosher salt
4 cups cola
1 tablespoon liquid smoke
Recipe
Dissolve salt in cola and add liquid smoke.
Put into a strong zip-style bag.
Add any chicken or pork.
Seal bag so cola covers all.
Set bag in a large bowl just in case of a leak.
Put in refrigerator overnight.
The next day... drain and grill your chicken or pork as desired, brushing with some of your favorite barbecue sauce during the last 1/2 hour of cooking.
