    List of Ingredients


    • 2 cups all purpose flour
    • 3/4 packed brown sugar
    • 1 tsp cinnamon
    • 1/2 tsp baking soda
    • 3/4 cup margarine
    • 2 cup chopped tart apples
    • 1 egg, slightly beaten
    • Topping
    • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
    • 1/2 cup choppe pecans
    • 2 Tbsp margarine
    • 2 Tbsp honey
    • 2 Tbsp milk
    • Whip topping (optional)


    Instructions


    1. Heat oven to 350. Spray 9" square pan with cooking spray.
    2. Mix flour, 3/4 cup brown sugar, cinnamon and baking soda.
    3. With pastry blender or fork, cut in 3/4 cup butter until mixture resembles coars crumbs. Stir in apples and egg.
    4. Press mixture into pan.
    5. Bake 25 to 30 minutes until center is puffed.
    6. To make topping: Combine all topping ingredients except whip topping to saucepan
    7. Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil. Stirring frequently.
    8. Drizzle hot topping over warm cake and return to the oven for 5 minutes.
    9. Cool completely. Cut and serve with whip topping.
