    LEMON LINGUINE

I tried this for Eric and Gabriela, but their basil was old and not flavorful, I didn't have any lemon-pepper seasoning, Gabriela couldn't eat garlic and I didn't have Parmesan cheese...but I think it is a good recipe!!!

    List of Ingredients

    • 8 ounces uncooked linguine (I used angel hair)
    • 3 Tbs. butter or stick margarine, melted
    • 1 Tbs. lemon juice
    • 1 1/2 tsp. dried basil (1 Tbs. fresh would be good)
    • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    • 1/2 tsp. salt-free lemon-pepper seasoning
    • 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese

    Instructions

    1. In saucepan, cook linguine in boiling water for 8 - 10 minutes or until tender.
    2. Meanwhile, in another saucepan, combine butter, lemon juice, basil, garlic powder, and lemon peppe.
    3. Cook and stir until butter is melted.
    4. Drain linquine (always save the water in case it is too dry)
    5. Add to butter mixture and toss to coat.
    6. Add Parmesan cheese and toss.

    7. Makes 4 servings.

    Final Comments

I used cheddar cheese and it glopped.
