    * 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
    * 1 teaspoon baking soda
    * 1 teaspoon salt
    * 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened (or butter Crisco)
    * 3/4 cup granulated sugar
    * 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
    * 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    * 2 large eggs
    * 2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
    *Frosted Flakes, crushed to make 1 cup
    *Cap'n Crunch (either regular or peanut butter), crushed to equal 1 cup
    *Optional, 1/2 cup coconut

    Preheat oven to 375.

    Sift or stir together the flour, soda and salt.

    In another bowl, cream together the butter/Crisco, sugars, and vanilla; beat til fluffy. Add in the eggs, one at a time. Add the flour on low, a little at a time.

    With the mixer on low (or use a big wooden spoon) stir in the cereals and chocolate chips (and coconut if using).

    Drop by tablespoons on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, til lightly browned at the edges. Remove to a cooling rack.

    If using a big dough scoop, they will obviously take longer to bake. Start checking them at 12-14 minutes, and just see how your oven is doing.
