Known also simply as blondies, these little baked goods are just brownies minus the chocolate. Yes, that's right, someone actually, voluntarily, removed chocolate from this dessert. While the motivation may be insane, the outcome is delicious.

Chocolate Chip Blonde Brownies from Recipe Bridge


1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips


Recipe



Melt butter; gently stir in the remaining ingredients, EXCEPT chocolate chips, just until mixed. Do not beat

Pat into greased 13x9 inch pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.

Bake at 350°F for about 20 minutes.

Cool; cut into bars.
