    Low Cholesterol Chili


    1 lb. ground turkey
    1 med. onion, chopped
    1 1/2 qts. or 6 c. unsalted tomato juice
    2 tsp. salt substitute
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    Chili powder to taste
    1 can kidney beans
    1 c. broken spaghetti (opt.)

    Recipe



    Brown turkey and onion together until meat is thoroughly cooked.

    Rinse away any fat or grease with HOT water. Drain meat.

    Mix remaining ingredients with drained meat and cook until hot, thick and bubbly and spaghetti is tender. (The uncooked spaghetti helps to thicken the chili mixture.)

    If desired chili can be served over cooked spaghetti instead of cooking spaghetti in chili.
