    Oven Baked B-B-Que St. Louis Style Ribs from Tami



    1. One slab Pork-Spare Ribs
    2. 2oz. liquid smoke
    3. 8oz. water
    4. B-B-Que rib rub
    5. Your favorite B-B-Que sauce.

    Recipe





    Trim slab by cutting the knuckle, off the top side of ribs just below the knuckle, then cut the first rib off both ends squaring the ends.
    Trim excess fat from both sides, and membrane from the back side.
    Rinse slab under cold water and set to aside.

    Combine 2oz. liquid smoke with 8oz. water and place in pan large enough to marinate the slab.
    Let marinate covered in refrigerator for about forty five minutes to an hour.
    Remove from refrigerator and pat dry.
    Rub with B-B-Que Rib Rub or your favorite seasoning, both sides.
    Place ribs on a wire rack in baking pan, add enough water to pan to cover bottom about a ¼” deep.
    Place in 200 degree pre-heated oven for approximately 2-1/2 to 3 hours, remove from oven and baste with your favorite b-b-que sauce.

    Return to oven, turn up the heat to 400 degrees till sauce caramelizes and browns slightly.
