    I have melted chocolate for years this way....in a Crockpot...the size depending on how much choc. you are going to need..large pot or small one....set the temp to low...add your choc. let it melt then do your dipping and/ or cluster making..I do dipping, nuts, then raisons, then dried fruit...all in the same chocolate...just make sure that there is NO moisture on the stuff your dipping. I usually melt a lot and then use it for several days...when you are done ..just unplug or turn off...then the next time just plug it in....let it melt and your ready to go again....if for some reason your chocolate ceases just use your potato peeler and or grater and shave some paraffin into the chocolate and mix it in...should loosen the chocolate up.. happy dipping etc.
