    Pecan Pie Brownies

    Topping:
    1/4 cup butter or margarine
    2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
    3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    2 cups chopped pecans

    Brownie:
    1 box Pillsbury Fudge Brownie Mix
    1/2 cup water
    1/4 cup vegetable oil
    1 egg

    Recipe



    Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease bottom only of 13x9-inch pan.

    Melt butter in medium saucepan; stir in flour until smooth. Add brown sugar and 2 eggs; mix well. Cook over medium-low heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla extract and pecans. Set aside.

    In large bowl, combine all brownie ingredients; beat 50 strokes with spoon. Spread in greased pan. Spoon topping evenly over top. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 to 35 minutes or until set. DO NOT OVER-BAKE. Cool completely. Cut into bars.
