    1/2 cup (1 stick) of unsalted butter
    8 oz white chocolate chips
    2 large eggs
    pinch of salt
    1/2 cup white sugar
    1/2 tsp vanilla extract--best if use real vanilla
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 cup all purpose flour
    8 ox semi sweet chocolate chips

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease an 8 inch square baking pan. Line bottom w/ foil and lightly grease the foil. Set pan aside.

    In a heavy sauce pan, melt butter over low heat. Remove from heat and add 1/2 white chocolate. (DO NOT STIR) In a large bowl, beat eggs and salt
    (pinch) until frothy. (Use an electric mixer). Gradually add sugar, beating until pale yellow and a slowly dissolving ribbon forms when beaters
    are lifted. Add butter mixture, vanilla, and the 1/2 tsp of salt.

    Add flour and mix until combined. Still in semi sweet chocolate and remaining white chocolate.

    Spoon into the prepared pan-smoothing the top w/ a spatula. Bake for 30 mins. Cool before cutting.

    Yields 16 brownies.
