    Banana Split Bread

    Ingredients:
    BREAD
    1 (8-oz.) can crushed pineapple, well drained, reserving liquid
    1 (14-oz.) pkg. Pillsbury® Banana Quick Bread & Muffin Mix
    2 eggs
    3 tablespoons oil
    1/3 cup chopped maraschino cherries
    1/3 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
    1/3 cup chopped pecans


    GLAZE
    1/2 cup powdered sugar
    2 tablespoons miniature semisweet chocolate chips, melted
    4 teaspoons milk


    Recipe

    Preparation Directions:
    1. Heat oven to 375°F. Grease and flour bottom only of 8x4 or 9x5-inch loaf pan. Add water to reserved pineapple liquid to make 3/4 cup.

    2. In large bowl, combine all bread ingredients; stir 50 to 75 strokes with spoon until mix is moistened. Pour batter into greased and floured pan.

    3. 3. Bake at 375°F. for 55 to 65 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool loaf in pan on wire rack for 15 minutes. Remove from pan; cool 45 minutes or until completely cooled.

    4. In small bowl, combine all glaze ingredients; stir until well blended. Drizzle over cooled loaf.

    Yield:
    1 (12-slice) loaf
    High Altitude: (Above 3500 Ft.)
    Add 1 tablespoon flour to dry mix. Bake at 375°F. for 50 to 60 minutes.
