    Serve with soup or salad. Also makes a great appetizer.
    Serves 4 to 6


    List of Ingredients




    1 cup flour
    1/2 cup beer
    2 Tbs vegetable shortening
    2 tsp salt
    6 green onions
    4 Tbs peanut oil

    Recipe



    Mix flour and beer into a soft, smooth dough. Divide into two equal
    portions. Roll each portion very thin. Brush with shortening. Sprinkle with
    salt. Cover each with chopped green onion. Roll each portion enclosing green
    onion. Coil each roll. Flatten each coil with rolling pin into a 6-8 inch
    diameter. Heat 10" skillet to high. Add 2 Tbs oil. Fry 2 minutes each side.
    Repeat for second portion. Cool on paper towel. Cut each into pieces and
    serve.
