    2 cups all-purpose flour
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    2 teaspoons baking soda
    1 teaspoon salt
    2 cups whole wheat flour
    2 eggs, room temperature
    1 ½ cups buttermilk, room temperature
    ½ cup sour cream, room temperature
    1 ½ cups pure maple syrup

    Recipe



    In a large bowl, blend together the white flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Measure and stir in whole wheat flour.
    In a small bowl, beat eggs and blend in buttermilk, sour cream and maple syrup. Pour this liquid mixture into the dry ingredients and stir well.
    Grease and line with greased wax paper, two 8 ½” x 4 ½” loaf pans.
    Pour or spoon batter into prepared loaf pans.

    Cook in a 325F degree oven for 1 hour (40 minutes in convection oven).
    Test for doneness. Turn loaves on their sides and gently tug on the paper to pull the loaves out. Cool before slicing.
