Not your basic bran muffin--these muffins are chock full of banana and honey.

BANANA HONEY MUFFINS
1 1/2 cups bran cereal
3/4 cup milk
2 medium (1 cup) ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup LAND O LAKES® Butter, melted
1/3 cup honey
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon large grain raw sugar
Recipe
Heat oven to 375°F. Stir together bran cereal and milk in large bowl. Let stand 5 minutes. Stir in banana, butter, honey and egg. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt just until moistened.
Spoon batter evenly into 6 paper-lined or greased giant muffin cups. Sprinkle each with raw sugar. Bake for 28 to 32 minutes or until lightly browned.
TIP: This recipe will yield 1 1/2 dozen standard-size muffins. Use paper liners or greased muffin cups. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until lightly browned. TIP: If using non-stick muffin pans there is no need to grease muffin cups.
