    1/2 package sausage links
    1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
    1/4 cup chopped red onion
    8 ounce container egg substitute
    2 pita breads
    1 cup shredded low fat cheese
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

    Preheat oven to 325. Cut sausage links into bite size pieces. Cook
    sausage, green pepper and onion in large skillet over medium heat for
    10 minutes. Pour in egg substitute then season with salt and black
    pepper. Lightly scramble until eggs are set but not dry. Cut pita
    breads in half to form 4 pockets then fill each pocket with 1/2 cup
    egg mixture. Top with 1/4 cup cheese then place in oven until cheese
    melts.
