    Egg and Bacon Pie

    List of Ingredients

    Pie crust (top & bottom)
    1/2 lb. bacon, cut in pieces
    5-8 eggs,lightly beaten
    salt and pepper
    1/4 cup chopped, lightly browned onion




    Recipe

    Cover bottom of deep-dish pie plate with pie crust.
    Fry bacon until crisp; drain. Cover bottom of pie dish
    with 1/2 of the bacon. Add eggs mixed with salt,pepper and onion.
    Top with remaining bacon. Cover pie with crust and seal
    edges with water. Brush top with milk and cut 5-6 slashes
    for steam vents. Refrigerate 15 minutes. Bake at 425 degrees
    for 15 minutes; reduce heat to 350 degrees; continue to bake
    additional 15 minutes.
