    Root Beer French Toast

    8 eggs
    1/2 c heavy cream
    1 12 oz can root beer
    1/4 c cinnamon
    8 slices challah or other egg bread
    1 tbsp butter
    1 c sliced strawberries

    In a bowl, whip eggs until fully blended. Add heavy cream, root beer and cinnamon. Mix thoroughly. Heat griddle to 350 degrees. Melt butter on griddle. Dip bread slices in egg wash until evenly coated. Place on griddle. Cook 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Garnish with strawberries and serve hot. Serves 4.
