Orange Marmalade Cobbler
Orange Sauce:
1 1/2 cups orange juice
1/4 cup sugar
2 Tablespoons cornstarch
3/4 cup orange marmalade
2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
Biscuit Dough:
1 cup biscuit mix
2 Tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 Tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1/4 cup orange juice
Orange Sauce:
In saucepan combine sugar, cornstarch and marmalade;
stir in orange juice. Heat, stirring, until thickened
and boiling; cook 2 minutes longer. Remove from heat;
stir in 2 Tablespoons butter or margarine. Pour into
8x8x2 inch pan.
Biscuit Dough:
Combine biscuit mix, sugar and nutmeg. Add butter or
margarine and orange juice; stir just until
ingredients are moistened.
Drop spoonfuls of biscuit dough over hot Orange Sauce.
Bake in 350 degrees F oven for 25 minutes or until
golden brown.
Makes One 8 x 8 inch pan cobbler
