A neat twist on crumb crust perfect for chiffon or cream pies. Sub pecans, walnuts or almonds, if you wish. From the Southern chapter of the United States Regional Cookbook, Culinary Arts Institute of Chicago, 1947.
SERVES 6 -8 (change servings and units)
Change to: Servings US Metric

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups brazil nuts, finely ground
3 tablespoons sugar
Directions
1Mix ground nuts with sugar in an 8" pie plate.
2Press this mixture against the pie plate.
3Fill with chiffon or cream pie filling.
