    Irish Soda Bread Recipe

    Ingredients
    - 3.5 cups flour
    - ½ cup sugar
    - ½ teaspoon baking soda
    - 2 teaspoons baking powder
    - 1 teaspoon salt
    - 1 pint sour cream
    - 2 eggs
    - ¾ cups raisins
    Directions:
    1. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl.
    2. Beat eggs in another large bowl and stir in sour cream
    3. Add the egg / sour cream mixture to the dry ingredients and stir with a wooden spoon. The batter will be very thick.
    4. Add raisins and continue stirring with spoon to achieve even mixture.
    5. Place batter in a 9” springfoam pan.
    6. Dust the top lightly with flour until you canpat the batter into an even layer without sticking to your hands.
    7. Make a shallow criss-cross in the top with a knife.
    8. Bake for 55 mins in a preheated 325° oven.
