Homemade Ice Cream
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 can Eagle Brand milk
1 large can evaporated milk
1/4 tsp salt
2 Tbsp vanilla extract
Fruit (add here if desired)
Recipe
Break and beat eggs well in large bowl. Add remaining ingredients,
beating well. Pour mixture into freezer can and continue adding milk
or hi-protein 2% milk, as desired, until mixture is 2 to 4 inches
from
the top of the freezer can. Mix thoroughly. Freeze !!
Hint: If freezer stops or hangs, add about 1/2 cup or so of water
to aid in thawing, enough so it begins to turn freely. *About 4
cups of sweetened fresh fruit (your choice) may be added and
mixed in prior to adding the regular milk.
