    6 all-beef franks
    3 slices of American cheese, each cut into 4 strips
    1 (10 oz) can Pillsbury refrigerated pizza crust
    1/2 cup pizza sauce, heated

    Can top with diced pepperoni, sauteed onion, green pepper, mushrooms, etc. Anything you would put on your favorite pizza. Can use white cheese and top with sauteed spinach and garlic. The variety is endless.

    Slit each hot dog lengthwise to within 1/2 inch of each end; place 2 cheese strips in each slit. Gently pat pizza crust into a 12x8 rectangle, then cut into 6 rectangles (each about 6x2 1/2 inches). Place 1 hot dog, cheese side down, in center of each dough rectangle. Wrap dough around hot dogs, covering completely and pinching sides and ends to seal. Place, seam side down, on a cookie sheet which has been sprayed with nonstick spray. If desired, brush dough with beaten egg white. Bake at 425* for 6 to 9 minutes or until lightly golden. Slit across top to resemble slit in a hot dog bun. Top with favorite toppings. Spoon warm pizza sauce on top. Or can use pizza sauce for dipping.
