    MICROWAVE BUTTERED POTATO WEDGES

    1/3 c. butter or margarine

    1/8 tsp. pepper

    2 lb. baking potatoes

    3 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese

    (optional)

    3/4 c. cut-up green onions

    Recipe



    Place butter in 1 cup measure, or glass dish. Microwave

    at High 45 to 60 seconds, or until melted. Stir in pepper.

    Cut each potato into quarters. Arrange potato wedges on 12-inch

    plate or large microwave baking sheet. Brush with half of

    butter. Cover with plastic wrap. Microwave at High 5 minutes.

    Rearrange potatoes. Brush with remaining butter. Sprinkle

    with cheese and green onions; cover. Microwave at High 7 to 13

    minutes, or until potatoes are just tender. Let stand covered,

    5 to 6 minutes. (Cover with foil during standing time.

    Potatoes will hold temperature for 30 minutes.) Serves 4 to 6.
