    Recipe Introduction

In honor of 211,600 beekeepers and 2.63 million colonies of honeybees (yes, we're guessing at those numbers). But, no matter how many there might be, they produce more than 220 million pounds of honey every single year! More than enough for your cup of tea.

    Honey Bee Lover's Soap Recipe

A delightful soap for all the bee fans out there!

4 oz honey melt & pour soap
    1 Tb beeswax
    1 Tb honey
    Dash of bee pollen (optional)

    Recipe

This soap is simple but beautiful and delightful! The color comes out looking like hard honey - it's a golden, gorgeous shade that looks very nice and professional. The bee pollen, honey, and beeswax are all wonderful for the skin. When I made this it did not turn out tacky from the honey.

Melt the soap base in a double boiler. As the soap is melting, add the honey and wax. Allow the melted soap to cool and form a film. Sprinkle in some bee pollen if so desired. Give a brief stir and pour into a delicate mold - heart shape, a bee soap mold, or any other creative mold. Leave to harden for many hours, possibly overnight, and enjoy in the morning! Makes a hard, dependable bar that smells like honey and makes your skin feel as royal as a Queen Bee!
