    Fresh Boston Butt Ham or Pork Shoulder

    1 Boston Butt Ham or Pork Shoulder by Nita
    Cut slits in the fat and press into them:
    Garlic cloves, crushed, peeled
    Sprinkle with Paprika, Salt and Black Pepper well.
    Preheat oven to 400 Degrees F.

    Recipe



    Place pork on rack in heavy duty pan with fat side down. Add about 1 quart
    water to bottom of pan.

    Bake for about 40 minutes. Baste several times.

    Turn pork fat side up.

    Reduce heat to 325 Degrees F. and bake until it registers done on a meat
    thermometer. Baste occasionally.

    Remove from heat.

    Let rest and cool (or cover and refrigerate)..

    Slice and serve.
