    Paprika gives a wonderful flavour and rich colouring to this dish which is easy to prepare and cook.
    Preparation: 10 - 15 minutes
    Cooking: 45 minutes


    List of Ingredients




    For 4 Servings
    4 pork loin chops
    2 tbsp corn oil
    1 onion, chopped
    1 small red pepper, seeded and cut in thin strips
    1 small green pepper, seeded and cut in thin strips
    1½ tbsp paprika
    1½ tbsp plain flour
    350ml (12 fl oz) chicken stock
    1 tbsp cornflour
    1 tbsp water
    2 - 3 tbsp soured cream
    salt and pepper, to taste


    Recipe



    Heat oil in a large frying pan and saute chops until golden. Remove from pan and set aside.
    Add onion and peppers to pan and fry gently for 2 - 3 minutes. Stir in paprika and flour and cook for 1 minute, then sitr in stock and bring to the boil, stirring.
    Reduce heat, add chops, then cover and simmer gently for 35 - 40 minutes until tender.
    Arrange chops on a serving dish and keep warm. Blend cornflour with water. Add to pan and bring to the boil, stirring. Reduce heat, add soured cream, simmer for 2 minutes. Season to taste and pour over chops.

    Good served with:
    Buttered noodles or sauteed potatoes and green beans.
